Waste management: Passengers must use the containers provided to dispose of their waste and take care not to throw anything inside the vehicle.
Respectful behaviour: Passengers must interact with other passengers, drivers and Flexi Transit staff with respect and courtesy at all times.
Acceptance of risk: By riding on a Flexi Public Transport vehicle, passengers accept the normal risks associated with the use of public transportation. CSRPA personnel ensure that all operations are carried out in a safe and professional manner.
Responsibility for accompanying persons: Passengers traveling with young children or persons under their care are responsible for ensuring that they behave in a respectful and safe manner.
Safety and Efficiency
Seat belts: Passengers must fasten the seat belts available in the vehicle.
Remain seated: Passengers must remain seated until the vehicle has come to a complete stop.
Disembarking at destination: Passengers must disembark only at their intended destination.
Safety when embarking/disembarking: It is forbidden to cross the road directly in front of the vehicle when embarking or disembarking.
Designated boarding points: Only passengers present at designated boarding points will be picked up. No boarding maneuvers will be carried out if the passenger is not at the right place.
Virtual pick-up points: Passengers must position themselves on the right-hand side of a road junction for virtual pick-up points.
Respectful behavior: Any aggression, threats, intimidation, abusive demands, legal infractions or interference with the driver or staff is strictly forbidden.
Zero tolerance for abuse: Abusive behavior, whether verbal or physical, towards drivers or staff is not tolerated. This includes profanity, threatening gestures, public disturbances and other disruptive acts.
Interacting with the driver: Avoid talking to or distracting the driver while driving. Any interference with controls or safety equipment could endanger driver and passengers.
Assistance with luggage: The driver is not obliged to help passengers with their luggage or any task requiring physical effort.
Cleanliness and Comfort
Scent-free policy: All Flexi Transit vehicles have a scent-free policy. Perfumes, colognes or other strong odors are prohibited. In addition, a passenger may be turned away if his or her body odor or hygiene compromises the comfort of other passengers, drivers or staff.
Attire: Passengers must wear appropriate clothing and footwear when using Flexi Transit services.
Consumption of alcohol and drugs: It is forbidden to consume alcoholic beverages on board vehicles. Access to services may also be refused to any passenger considered to be under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs.
No smoking: Smoking is strictly forbidden in Flexi Public Transport vehicles. Passengers wishing to smoke must do so outside, at a minimum distance of nine meters from entrances, windows or other public accesses to the vehicle.
Eating and drinking: Eating or drinking inside vehicles is forbidden, unless deemed medically necessary.
Pets: Pets are not allowed in public vehicles, with the exception of service animals required for health reasons.
Lost and found: Flexi Transport en commun declines all responsibility for items lost or forgotten in vehicles. Lost items will be dropped off at the CSRPA reception desk, where they can be retrieved.
Use of electronic devices: Passengers using electronic devices should ensure that the volume is set so as not to disturb other occupants of the vehicle. The use of headphones is strongly recommended.
